Growing Up

A struggling kid - Part 1

Today i will narrate a story of  a girl named Meera, She lived in Kolkata ' The city of Joy'.
The day she was born less she knew what the destiny holds for her. Growing up was full of fun and love, sorrow was an alien word to her till she turned 8.

The good part of been a kid is you see the positive part in all negatives and find happiness in your own little world where no one judge you for your mindset for your actions, but sweetheart don't forget you are growing up and flaws are part of it. Now that Meera have turned 8 she started understanding the complex relation between her parents. What she though was love is actually a struggle to live together bearing each others grieve, failure & expectations in their heart and living, imposing those expectation over the kid who barely understand the meaning of expectations. Meera's mom was daily troubled by his dad and Meera would sit quietly in a corner struggling to understand where the things have gone wrong who is right who is wrong after all choosing sides between parents is not easy. 

Days passed by Meera is now a teenager who sees her mom struggling to feed the family to give best education to her daughter, wherein the dad is drowned in alcohol beats up her mother and Meera, throws them out of the house to survive the night in the wild. One day Meera asked her mother ' Why don't you leave dad and we can stay happily'
Mother replies : "It's not that easy your dad has no one i know he loves me it's the alcohol that makes your dad go mad".  That day Meera understands how much her mom loves her dad she admires to become like her mother and wonders are all the men same????

Being a Parent

Definition of Parenthood :  Parenting is not easy with great difficulty one succeed's to raise a kid, it's a fine balance of art to convince your kid they can do anything in life simultaneously yelling "Don't do that!"
